Beit HaDvash, The "Honey house"
Beit HaDvash, The "Honey house" is one of the 2 "Jewish" buildings in the old Yemenite Village of Shiloach, in which resides a single ideological Jewish family.
The home is located in the old Yemenite "Hekdesh" (Sanctified Communal Yemenite property) and close to the old Yemenite Synagogue. The house in owned by a small group of Canadian Jews. Together with the families and students of Beit Yehonatan, the family of Beit HaDvash is the first Jewish life that has returned to the old Yemenite Village, since the Jews were driven out by Arab pogroms and riots of 1937-38.
